Jim Beam’s ‘Black Tie BBQ’ at Prefecture 48: Where southern smoke meets black-tie sophistication
Join us at Prefecture 48 for a one-night-only dining experience that brings smoke, craft and sensory immersion to the table – all in celebration of the new, seven-year-aged Jim Beam Black.
Rooted in Jim Beam Black’s ‘Seven Senses’ – a concept that invites drinkers to experience bourbon beyond just taste – the night is designed to awaken every element of perception. From the warm aroma of oak and vanilla to the sound of live bluegrass and the flicker of open flames, each element has been crafted to showcase the depth, richness and refinement of this extra-aged spirit.
At the heart of the experience is a bold menu curated by Luke Powell of LP’s Quality Meats and Chef Julio of Ibushi. Known for his mastery of smoke and fire, Powell brings his signature Southern BBQ style to the table. Expect a dramatic, flavour-packed feast of slow-smoked meats, umami-rich sides and elevated share plates – all designed to complement the complexity of Jim Beam Black.
Jim Beam Black will be served neat, with bitters and ginger, or shaken into a selection of specially crafted cocktails – each designed to enhance the richness and depth of this aged spirit.

Presented as part of Suntory Bar – a three-month residency celebrating Suntory’s portfolio, including Jim Beam.
