What are the booking policies and cancellation fees?

The booking policies and cancellation fees vary depending on the venue.

Is there a booking deposit required?

There is no booking deposit required; we only need your credit card details to secure the reservation.

What is the venue capacity?

The entire precinct has a capacity of 250 guests for standing events and 150 guests for seated events.

Is there disability access?

Yes, Prefecture 48 is fully accessible and disability-friendly.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is smart casual. Please note that shorts, caps, and flip-flops are not permitted.

Can we BYO?

We do not permit BYO alcohol. Thank you for your understanding.

Are external cakes allowed, if so, what is the cakeage fee?

Unfortunately, we do not allow external cakes. However, we offer a variety of house-made cakes available through Dear Florence.

I want to change or cancel a booking, how is this done?

If you would like to change or cancel your booking, please contact our reservations team by calling (02) 8552 2888 during business hours or by emailing reservations@p48.com.au.

Do you accept walk-ins?

While we always recommend making a booking, especially on weekends, we do accept walk-ins at Ibushi and Whisky Thief.

What time is your last booking?

Our last booking times are as follows: Tuesday to Thursday at 9:00 PM, and Friday to Saturday at 9:30 PM.

Do you accept any external gift cards?

We only accept Azabu and P48 gift cards. At this time, we do not accept any external gift cards.

Do you sell P48 gift cards?

Yes, we offer P48 gift cards. You can purchase physical gift cards at our venue, and digital gift cards are available for purchase here: https://app.squareup.com/gift/MLBXQCZYC7JJF/order.

Can I use a gift card to book?

Unfortunately, gift cards cannot be used as a booking guarantee.

I forgot something at the venue, who do I contact?

We’re sorry to hear that you’ve forgotten something at the venue. Please contact our reservations team with a description of the missing item, and they will assist you. You can reach them at reservations@p48.com.au or by calling (02) 8552 2888.

Are you child-friendly and are high chairs available?

Unfortunately, our venue is not suitable for children and high chairs are not available.

How does the courtyard space work? Is it walk-ins only? Can I book?

Currently, the courtyard space is walk-in only and is not available for bookings.

Do you have parking available, if not, where is the nearest parking/train station?

We do not have parking available at our venue. However, the nearest parking option is the Wilson carpark at Darling Park, which would be the best place to park. Additionally, there are nearby train stations for your convenience.
